The Running Genie ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use The Running Genie mobile application ("App").

Fitness Data Providers: If you connect a third-party fitness service (such as Strava or Garmin), we access permitted activity data as authorized by you. The handling of such data by these providers is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Cloud Infrastructure: Your personal information and running data are stored securely on our cloud database provider. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in accordance with industry-standard security practices.
AI Services: We use third-party artificial intelligence services to process running and training data in order to generate insights, summaries, and recommendations within the App. Data shared with these services is limited to what is necessary to provide functionality and is transmitted securely. No personally identifiable information is shared with AI services.
Analytics: We use PostHog, a third-party analytics service, to understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience. Analytics data includes non-identifiable information such as feature usage, screen views, subscription status, and device context. We do not send your name, email, or other personally identifiable information to our analytics provider.
We do not allow third-party services to use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes.
If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, all payments are processed securely by the respective app store provider (such as Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment information.
Your data is stored on secure servers to enable app functionality. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the App's services, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App under Settings > Data Management > Delete My Data. Once deleted, your personal information, profile, preferences, and all stored data are permanently removed from our servers and cannot be restored.
If you authenticate via a third-party service (such as Strava or Garmin), deleting your The Running Genie account does not delete your third-party account. Please refer to the respective service's privacy policy for account deletion instructions.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your data directly within the App or contact us for assistance.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you within the App.
